Karin Schlautmann has many years of experience in the print media and has held a number of management positions within the industry. Following her studies in Literature and History, she completed a journalism internship at the “Westfalen-Blatt” newspaper in Bielefeld. She then served as editor for Thomas Gottschalk’s Late Night Show and held a number of positions at the “Bild” newspaper, finally as lead reporter and executive editor for the Entertainment division. Following that she joined the staff of “Bunte” and served as associate editor-in-chief of “Gala” before becoming editor-in-chief of “Frau im Spiegel” in October 2002".
